Paul Revere printed the faces of the notes from this issue. The face design features a cod fish in the top border while the back vividly portrays the landmark Pine Tree. The note is clearly printed on bright paper with eight ample margins and the bold signature of Richard Cranch. Of the seven examples of this note recorded in the PMG Population Report at present, only one other note is tied with this example for the highest recorded grade.
