A scarce early San Francisco issue that saw a mintage of just 5,000 with only 30 to 45 survivors in all grades. This example exhibits ample detail for the grade with pleasing original surfaces that are a warm honey-orange color. This is the only VF-25 graded by PCGS.

A rare date with most surviving examples only grading VG or Fine. This is a sharply detailed example with predominantly light silver-gray surfaces. Far cleaner than typical with some toning spots but no scratches or other disturbances which is often the case with this date. PCGS estimates 275 known in all grades, raw and certified.

Haxby NH-105-G4b. Remainder. Paper toned. Red TWO overprint with Green Back. This note features a central vignette of two men in a pasture with cattle, that is flanked by vignettes of Liberty and Justice on oposite ends.
Haxby NC-85-G12a. Exquisite color and near perfect margins. Vignettes include 3 maidens representing Navigation, Agriculture, and Engineering as well as a Steam Locomotive and maiden in an oval. Only 2 notes have graded 64PPQ at PGCS with just 12 finer.
